Haugh Performing Arts Center

Know Before You Go

As we return to in-person performances at the Haugh Performing Arts Center, our goal is to create a safe and clean environment where our patrons, students, artists and staff remain protected and healthy. The Haugh Performing Arts Center is working in accordance with guidelines set forth by the California Department of Public Health, and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. This includes an indoor mask requirement, and proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for all performances, unless otherwise stated. The guidelines will be in place until they are deemed no longer necessary by state and local health officials.

Covid-19 Policy for Spring 2022 Performances (Updated 12/31/2021)

Subject to change according to guidelines set forth by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

Masks are required to be worn in the Haugh Performing Arts Center for the duration of the performance, and in restrooms. In accordance with the L.A. County Department of Public Health (LACDPH), all patrons over the age of two, regardless of vaccine status, must wear a mask (cloth, surgical, or KN95) when inside the Haugh Performing Arts Center, and in restrooms. Bandanas, scarves, face shield-only, or masks with exhalation valves are not permitted.

Seating for events occurring after January 1, 2022 will be open to the Haugh Performing Arts Center’s full capacity of 1,390. Currently, LACDPH guidelines require proof of full vaccination, or a negative PCR COVID-19 test at indoor events with an expected attendance of 500 people or more. To attend events after January 3, 2022, audience members are required to provide either proof of full vaccination or a negative PCR COVID-19 test prior to entering the Haugh Performing Arts Center. You may display proof of vaccination on a smartphone or by showing a physical copy of your vaccination card or official vaccination record, along with a government-issued ID. Guests under 18 may present a school photo ID. Children 5 and older and those who are unvaccinated due to a medical or religious reason must provide proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours prior to attending a performance. Rapid or antigen tests will not be accepted.

"Full vaccination" means that either 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of an FDA-authorized double-dose vaccine or that 14 days have passed since receiving an FDA-authorized single-dose vaccine.

If you choose to provide a negative COVID-19 test, please be advised of the following guidelines from LACDPH. Your name documented on the test must match your photo ID. The test must have been taken in within the 48 hours prior to the performance and with a test result of negative. The result must be from a laboratory, healthcare, test provider or patient platform for the healthcare provider (e.g. Healthvana, CommonPass, CLEAR Health Pass). A COVID-19 self test, sometimes referred to as “home test,” is not acceptable. For more details on acceptable testing methods, and COVID-19, please visit ph.lacounty.gov/coronavirus.

Do not visit the theater if you are, or have been ill (fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, runny nose or congestion, chills, muscle pain, nausea or vomiting, fatigue, body aches, sore throat, diarrhea or recent loss of taste and smell), or if you have been exposed to COVID-19 within the last 14 days. Refund and exchange policies have been modified to accommodate health and safety.

Please be sure to discuss this information to each ticket holder in your party, prior to the date of performance.
